Found this place from looking at nearby restaurants by our hotel on google maps and it did not disappoint. The staff were so lovely and were happy for us to wait to the side and offered us the drinks menu whilst waiting on a table to come free. We went all in on the top three pasta dishes and every dish was delicious. Service was great for a busy Sunday evening. Definitely worth the wait and a visit! For three pasta dishes, two glasses of wine and two Aperol spritz we were €80 - great value for money!
I selected this restaurant for their wild boar with pumpkin and pistachio listed on the menu and I was not disappointed. This was my single favorite dish in Florence. My girlfriend had the Tortelli with meat sauce. She also enjoyed her entree. For dessert she had a delicious Chocolate Mousse. We were seated at a outdoor table where we enjoyed watching the people go by. The service was good and the prices and portions were reasonable.
We made reservations here and were promptly seated upstairs when we arrived. The service was friendly although some things too a little while. The food itself was pretty good - not amazing, but still left us satisfied. I had the Ravioli stuffed with burrata and anchovies and I enjoyed it, but was left wanting a bit more. The Ribollita soup I had was hearty but not as flavourful as I would like.
Excellent place. Have been a bit scared for the first because of a few negative reviews but decided to give it a try anyway because of the menu and other positive ones. And have not regretted it. The food and service have been so great that we have been coming back for dinner here 4 times in a row!
We had a wonderful outdoor dining experience here. It was so nice we ate here twice during our stay in Florence. All of the dishes we tried were delicious, and we enjoyed the signature Steak Florentine cooked perfectly.
There was no table free when we arrived but while we had to wait, the waiter offerd us a glass of Prosecco. After 20 minutes of waiting, we got a table for 4 persons outside. The stuff were very kind. For antipasti we had the Bruschetta and Crostini della casa. It was enough for 4 persons and very tasty. For the main course we had the Bistecca alla Fiorentina for two people and it was amazing, I‘ve never eaten such a delicious steak in Firenze before. Also the spaghetti Carbonara and the Trofie al Pesto were absolutely delicious. All in all I can highly recommend this restaurant when being in Firenze. It’s a must have to go here for dinner!
We had such a wonderful meal here. Fully recommend the wild boar and truffle pasta dishes and the tiramisu is INCREDIBLE! The staff were really friendly and they had a good wine list. We also enjoyed sitting outside where there was a lovely evening atmosphere.
Charming decor and good service but the food was so-so. The minestrone soup was hot and flavorful, but the vegetables were over-cooked and mushy. Bread was a bit dry and flavorless.
